If he wants to play Go on a D4 you'll have to do a lot of optimization because took some patient. I remember something with 2D textures and another with 3D decreasing to.5x or something. There is a Nougat custom rom out (CM14?). Haven't tested too much, could be something good to look into. For Go I would probably go with another device than a D4 sadly. Depends on who your brother is but he may not be very patient and wanting better speeds than what the D4 can offer with Go. May expect more from the D4 than it can offer. If I were to consider using the CM11 rom could you point me in the right direction to find instructions on how to flash the rom to the D4? Do you know if CM11 is rooted? That might make life easier for me cuz I have a new to me D4 that needs to be rooted to run my favorite app and I haven't done it yet cuz it's a bit complicated for me.
